Surprise Swing Choir Reunion 2009

This was a surprise party and reunion all in one. Mrs. Roberts was a choir teacher who wasn’t just a teacher. She invested most of her life enriching the lives of her students. She just retired last year, so some of her students from over the years decided to throw her a “Surprise Caroling” party. Yes you read that right. They showed up at her door step during the Christmas holiday season and gave back to the woman who touched so many of their lives, singing carols just like they did every year when they were in school.

I was also impacted greatly over my years with her and was honored to share in this day. My husband was the photographer for this event since I was there as a guest. I think I can speak for everyone who attended in saying Thank You Mrs. Roberts! We love you!
